We decided to get away for a quick weekend trip to RAF Lakenheath for some American food, Christmas shopping and a wonderful Christmas Fayre in
Bury St. Edmunds! Unlike some towns that have small to midsize Christmas markets for a few weeks leading up to Christmas, Bury St Edmunds has a GIGANTIC fayre that runs only for one weekend a year. We were definitely shocked and impressed by all there was to see....rides, food, shopping, crafts, animals, and more! I think we will definitely return for next year's fayre! Bury St Edmunds is worth a visit anytime of year with a beautiful cathedral, abbey gardens, and a Norman Tower! Add the Christmas Fayre and you have a recipe for fun and excitement!
